Yesterday the UN spent a day reviling Israel for human rights violations. Who spoke to condemn Israel? Syria, Iran, Turkey, Bahrain, Egypt, among others. Each of these countries has a human rights record far worse than Israel could ever imagine.

As civilians were being killed in Syria, the U.N.'s top human rights body was busy holding its ritual U.N. Day of Hate, against Israel. One day devoted to targeting Israel is a permanent feature of every council meeting, under its only country-specific agenda item, entitled "the Human rights situation in Palestine and other occupied Arab territories."
