To make things even funnier, or stupider, it seems the husband is also filing suit against the kid. It seems he has lost the "services" and "consortium" of his wife as a result of the accident. Hmm, wife takes ball in the mouth, husband loses wife's services.

I just hope the dumbass parents suing  have to explain to their kids how Mom getting popped in the mouth causes pain and suffering to dear old Dad.

Reminds me of the joke about how diamonds are made.

This is America, where a person can sue anybody, for any reason.

Please note, however, that not all lawsuits are successful.

Plus, frivolous lawsuits get thrown out by the judge before they're even abjudicaed and the plaintiff ends up paying the court costs in full, and the defense's attorney fees.

Sometimes...if you're lucky.

Our need to learn should always outweigh our need to be right

It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.

More people would learn from their mistakes if they weren't so busy denying them.

Sadly this will probably have to go to court to determine if it is frivolous .  They are claiming the wounding throw was intentional.
