Just for fun I enjoy pointing out the ridiculousness of the Right wing claims about Pres Obama being a secret Muslim terrorist socialist atheist trying to destroy America.  Sadly I live in Texas where the majority actually believe this crap.The facts are that he is more far right than any president in History IMHO. Through his speeches, Congressional testimony, and actions in office, it is possible to reconstruct the geopolitical blueprint that Cheney followed in his career as a top White House strategist - a blueprint that President Obama, eerily enough, now appears to be implementing, despite the many risks involved.

That blueprint consists of four key features: 1. Promote domestic oil and gas production at any cost to reduce America's dependence on unfriendly foreign suppliers, thereby increasing Washington's freedom of action.

2. Keep control over the oil flow from the Persian Gulf (even if the US gets an ever-diminishing share of its own oil supplies from the region) in order to retain an "economic stranglehold" over other major oil importers.

3. Dominate the sea lanes of Asia, so as to control the flow of oil and other raw materials to America's potential economic rivals, China and Japan.

4. Promote energy "diversification" in Europe, especially through increased reliance on oil and natural gas supplies from the former Soviet republics of the Caspian Sea basin, in order to reduce Europe's heavy dependence on Russian oil and gas, along with the political influence this brings Moscow.

Well, someone like Hitler, someone like Mao, someone like Stalin couldn't win in THIS country, either...we are about democracy, not tyrrany.

The left is at this point frothing at the mouth in their obsession to silence anyone and everyone who doesn't believe as it (the Borg-like left) does, "assimilate or be eliminated", the main idea---an idea rich in the mind of zealots of any "religion"...

I  think that it is the Neo Cons advising him rather than any other rightist or leftist thing.    I know that Neo Con needs no party affiliation just an allegience to the war profiteers.    The MIC is so entrenched I do not know if it will ever be neutered,     job creator and all that, too big to topple.    You can just as easily put Hilliary or Nancy or Boehner or Dick Cheney in the party of Neo Con.      Incredibly the bottom line of the  armament line is also considered and is included.    What good is a bomb or du bullets and bunker busters if you don't use em so you can make more.

The whole subject becomes murky and impossible to clear because  the Neo Con crowd is bipartisan and our President is just as enamored of the new drone toy as the last one and for sure the next one.
