Just for laughs I thought I would post the policies of our so called socialist president and let the Usual Obama critics explain how these can be called socialism. I have always considered him a fascist and a corporate stooge who places the international corporations ,(who are free to control our Elections, thanks to the Supreme court)ahead of our own interests. Naturally these will force our American companies to beg for exemptions from environmental regs and other laws meant to protect us from greedy corporations.

Well, I think it's wonderful, personally. I have a great reverence for tradition. And in tilting the playing field toward the big corps and big money boyz, Obama is only honoring a tradition that goes back unbroken to Reagan, and beyond that intermittently all the way to Bill McKinley. He's following in the footsteps of the grate old ones. Life is a dirt sandwich, and the high rollers Know it -- the more bread you got, the less dirt you havve to eat.

You missed a very crucial line here Drawout ... " That international tribunal would be granted the power to overrule American law and impose trade sanctions on the United States for failing to abide by its rulings." Essentially, handing the rule of law of the United States of America over to a one world government. Hmmmmmm ... one world governmet .. .where have I heard that before ..... OH ... that's right The International Socialist Party. |

Bodean, I'm afraid your worst fears have indeed come to pass. See Teds new thread, entitled "New Trade Agreement." Personally, I take an Alfred E. Neuman attitude toward this kind of stuff.

If it is something that environmental activists, financial reform advocates and labor unions have long rejected I would think a Conservative ought to love it. In addition, it is described in the article as "corporate global governance," exactly what Conservatives are striving for.
