And if HAMAS distributed that food aid they've been getting equitably, it needn't have happened. |

Have any support for that contention that the news in the US is 'censored' and 'bias' (I believe grammar requires it be 'biased')? Do you want to dispute my contention that HAMAS has not distributed the food aid promptly and fairly? Then address that point and cease dragging in irrelevant conspiracy BS, please.

Ted, The nuttrition of the children of Gaza has been the responsibility of the PA and of Hamas for the past two decades. Every malnourished stunted child in Gaza is testimony to the criminal priorities of the Palestinian leadership which first enriches itself and second pours all possible resources into its senseless war with the State of Israel. When you and other "humanitarians" begin to pressure the Palestinian leadership to do something about this situation, then perhaps the nutrition of Gaza children will improve. In the meantime, blaming Israel does absolutely nothing for the children of Gaza. Habesor

Ted Please provide any information you might have concerning any shortsages of food stuffs in Gaza. You will be hard pressed to find any, since there are no shortages of food in Gaza. There are no food shortages in the US either, although we have starving and hungry children. Is that also "Israel's fault? If it is not, can you provide any reason why there might be hungry children in the US? |

Gaza remains Occupied, international authorities tell us, like the International Court of Justice. They impose a siege on Gaza, they are responsible for the condition of the civilian population in Gaza. The report in the OP addresses malnutrition and its effects on children, this has been addressed for years by UNICEF, addressed and documented, for years, the malnutrition and stunted growth. The article in the OP tells us every third child in Gaza is less developed than he or she should be, stunting effects physical growth, brain development, and the ability to learn. It is a direct consequence of malnutrition, a deliberate, man made lack of food and water, imposed, planned, and executed in the most detailed way by the Israeli government. The Israeli government even calculates how many calories to let into Gaza to avoid outright starvation but to cause malnutrition, which they expect to go under the radar of human rights abuses. electronicintifada.ne/content/blockade-e...

Sherry, Given that your source is that unbiased site named the Electronic Intifada, I can understand why in ten lines you managed to state at least nine falsehoods. Good going! Habesor

Habesor, What is Electronic Intafada, a website operated by a Palestinian American. He is biased, I guess, the same way Moses was biased on the side of the Israelites, when he led them from their 400 year captivity in Egypt. UNICEF has been writing reports about malnutrition and stunted growth in children for years and years, and their reports can be accessed on their website, as have many other UN groups. What the OP addresses is nothing new, an ongoing problem children face in their Gaza concentration camp, living under siege, under Occupation, under Apartheid. Further, the information reported in the OP comes not from the Electronic Intifada founder, but from a doctor who has worked inside Gaza and speaks of what he has seen happening to children in Gaza, he speaks from his personal observations, what he has witnessed in Gaza. Attacking the messenger grows old, and it simply does not work any longer to shield the view of the world from the Occupation and it and Israel's abuses in Gaza. Sherri |
