OCHA Report: “370 Injured During Nakba Commemoration”


 

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has issued its weekly report on Israeli violations in the occupied territory for the period between May 9-15, .revealing that Israeli soldiers shot at least 370 Palestinians during the Nakba commemoration, and continued their violations in the West bank and the Gaza Strip.

The above, taken from the news article you posted, is incorrect (a lie).  About 370 Palestinians sustained minor injuries, the majority by inhalation of tear gas.  Some were shot, but, yes, please answer Habesor's question concerning the term "shot".


The incidents happened in only a few places and were the results of riots and attacks by the Palestinians on the IDF, border guards and Israeli civilians which included throwing rocks and molotov cocktails and at least one explosive device.  One Israeli soldier and three border police officers were also injuried.
