Here is a video about how to best wreck the USA...which just happens to be how the Democrats are doing just that.

Ken I saw that and recognize what you are saying.

What is unfortunate is the Left maintain their blindness as if purposely.

I would feel better if the dems or repubs for that matter simply came out and said they wished to abolish the constitutional govt and set up something entirely new.

Of course, thats when the fight would start........

Jim Hoft is no Goebbels, but the video was entertaining anyway.

It is always amusing to see a Conservative go on about how wonderful free markets are.

I don't read, write, or watch any sort of ideology-driven propaganda. I hate, detest, and loathe all forms of it.

And everybody already knows the best way to destroy any country. It's easy. Just start a war that never ends so you can run up enormous debts, and then tax the very rich at a lower rate than you tax wage earners.

It's easy.

Iraq is over, and Afghanistan is about over, so you must be talking about that far more expensive and truly unending war, The War on Poverty?

Good video.  May it go viral.

Very well stated. Also very true.

A tyrant must put on the appearance of uncommon devotion to religion. Subjects are less apprehensive of illegal treatment from a ruler whom they consider god-fearing and pious. On the other hand, they do less easily move against him, believing that he has the gods on his side. Aristotle

Highly recommended: Paul Kennedy's EXCELLENT Book, "The Rise and Fall of the Great Powers: Economic Change and Military Confict from 1500 to 2000." (1987, Random House) ...

ALL Empires eventually collapse from BOTH within AND without ... Out Turn will come ... It's called, "History" ... ("Stars and Stripes Forever" is both un-Realistic and a terrible Insult to "God") ...

Yeah .. but that is because a "change" occurrs with success.

Do gooders start feeling guilty about their prosperity.  They start showing commercials, and writing op-eds about the "poor" of the world, and how "we" are not deserving.  They start up with all kinds of conspiracy theories of how "we" stole what we have from the rightful owners.  Then they start thinking in terms of "social justice", creating legislation to redistribute wealth in the name of social justice.  Charity no longer becomes about taking care of others, it becomes a case of "at what level".  The recipients no longer are grateful for what they receive, but look at it and compare it to what others have ... and then of course .. say .. "this is not fair".

The righteous become complacent, apthetic about the principles that made them who and what they are.  They begin to buy into the social justice story, as opposed to rejecting the very flawed premise that underlies it.  They begin to equate poverty with the wrong doing of the successful.

The "benefics" of the power grab of the Social Justice crowd are held up as the righteous, while the truly righteous are undermined and rediculed.  AND .. as long as the benefics adhere to the Social Justice mantra, the leadership of the Social Justice movement holds them up.

No doubt .. what we have now will fail.  We will be crushed from within.  Only thing is, the "stars and stripes forever" died a long time ago.  In fact, somewhere in the 1930s, when FDR, and the rest of the socialists minded, central planning group managed to usurp our freedoms and liberty by creating a catastrophy through thier agent of control ... the Federal Reserve.

Once again, ... the Left will be proven that their philosophies are rubbish.  We will just be the latest example of that.  ... but ... the people still will not learn.

"In March 2008, when federal officials were quoting a wide range of numbers when citing the cost of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, a book was published that calculated an estimated total price tag that included the cost of OEF/OIF veterans’ healthcare and disability expenses over their lifetime. The book, The Three Trillion Dollar War: The True Cost of the Iraq Conflict, put the total estimated cost at between $3 trillion and $5 trillion—a figure that Congressional reports later agreed with.

However, according to the book’s authors, economists Linda Bilmes, PhD, and Joseph Stiglitz, PhD, their estimates from two years ago are too low. Data gleaned from veterans who have redeployed over the last two years suggests the number is closer to $4 to $6 trillion, with most of that increase due to an increase in veterans seeking care through VA and the increased availability of that care."

"The long-term partnership that President Obama signed with the Afghan government commits the U.S. to a role in the troubled nation for at least a dozen more years, [...]  Details of the agreement are still vague, as is the eventual cost of the mission, which could be as much as $4 billion annually."

*******

"Wesley told the early Methodists to gain all they could and save all they could so that they could give all they could. It means that I consider my money to belong to God and I see myself as one of the hungry people who needs to get fed with God’s money. If I really have put all my trust in Jesus Christ as savior and Lord, then nothing I have is really my own anymore."
