The presidential election is not all that critical, IMO.  The most important thing is the congressional outcomes.  If the Senate and the House remain in their respective party's control, we can expect four more years of the same partisan do-nothing congress we've had, regardless of who is elected president.  On the other hand, if the party who wins the White House also takes the whole congress, look out!
