Well, we certainly cant deploy the missle defense if Russia feels this way about it.


Russia threatens to strike NATO missile defense sites


What do you really think obama's repsonse would be if Russia DID strike those sites?

It there a leftist board consensus that we should not live up to what we have promised our allies and reneg on this action as he did when he shafted the Poles?

The policy to "get bin Laden" was the no brainer, decision had been made before obama got into office.  He followed through well.

This type of threat is where you must have a concise, solid leadership.  Some sort of moral compass.  Core beliefs would be helpful.

God help us.

"Missile defense" was a boondoggle from the day Reagan proposed it. More than 30 years and tens of billions of dollars later we still can't shoot down our own test missiles reliably.


They were a useless stupid provocation when they were proposed and they are a useless stupid provocation now.


One sozzled Russian general reacts and only TENAC and the Moonie World News noticed.

First of all, it's not "the Russians," it's one Russian general.


And secondly, the Russians don't care whether the damn thing works or not; it provides them with a talking point and an excuse to obfuscate and stall.

I don't know if it's a very good hoax. Even the Russians have to know we haven't been able to make it work effectively against a single unarmed ICBM in 30 years, let alone 3000 of them that the Russians could launch.


All they've got is oil and missiles. Why give them another talking point?
