Strikes me, TENAC, that ever since Obama threw his hat in the ring, all you and your like-minded colleagues have talked about is Obama's skin colour, whether or not he was born in the US, whether or not he is a Muslim, and other such nonsense. (I remember a thread you started about whether or not Mrs. Obama was taking kickbacks from a clothing manufacturer). You and those like you do not want to discuss ideas and policies. You've done nothing but try to tear down Obama from Day One. This thread is just one more in a long traion of threads started by you, threads meant to denigrate the President.

But it seems I cannot stoop low enough to find the real obama.

Everything about him has an angle or an edge or is just made up.  He has had no life.  None.

The writer of this article calls him a "fabulist."  And he's right.  He fabricates everything.

Obama biographer David Maraniss contacted the former girlfriend, Genevieve Cook, who insists the scene never took place. She says they never even saw a show by a black playwright.

Maraniss, who works for the Washington Post, snagged an interview with the president and asked him about the discrepancy. Obama agreed with Cook's account.

So why did he make up the anecdote? He told Maraniss it was a "useful theme to make about sort of the interactions that I had in the relationships with white girlfriends."

How convenient — especially when the overall theme of his bitter memoir is white racism.

Obama told another whopper in his autobiography. He wrote that while thumbing through a copy of Life magazine, he came across a story about a black man who underwent chemical treatments to lighten his skin. He claims he recoiled in horror at the photo of the bleached man, who looked like "an albino."

Then he says he got so angry that "I felt my face and neck get hot." He was upset that blackness was so condemned in America that a black man would resort to making himself white.

Only, that story wasn't true, either. Life never published such an article.

Whoever obama tells you he is, it is more likely than not untrue.  No one has every gained this office with such a fantasy mind.  But we are being forced to live under it.  Hopefully that will change Nov 6.

We havenet even discussed the Julia thing they released on you tube yet.  I would expect most of the left to give it a standing "o", and in fact I am surprised no one on the left have posted it yet here for discussion or hold it up as the model of what our country should be.
