I think many of them would go into existential crisis, having to reexamine their purpose for living. But I want to know what your opinion is.

What is Israel's responsibility to other nations that buttress its ethereal "right"? One can take a look at the list of nation states which currently actually exist, they all have a right to exist so long as that is the desire of their citizenry. Even nations which were created out of thin air or by former colonial regimes and which have somewhat nonsensical borders like Iraq, Syria, Jordan, Turkey, Iran, Georgia, Azerbaijan, and almost every Central and Southern African country have the right to exist. Countries lose their right to exist when their people decide that the country no longer has a right to exist. That is why Czechoslovakia has ceased to exist and we now have the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Rights originate from somewhere and imply that there are inalienable qualities that accompany the "right". Where does a nation's "right to exist" originate? What are the inalienable qualities that accompany the "right"? If this "right to exist" is supposedly innate, why does it need to be recognized by other nations? Did nations that no longer exist, for example, Tibet, lose this right? That a citizenry embraces such a "right" hasn't posed much of a barrier to nations being conquered. Does the "right to exist" preclude a "right to conquer"?
