As for the pictures in this thread they seem to show members of the Tea party sitting quietly civilly listening to speakers, while SOAW is breaking the law causing trouble and needs police to restore civility to there gathering.

Not really, SOAW had a permit for the march, main point of contention was the permit to march in the street was yanked at the last minute.
If you knew anything about SOAW events such as this one you would know they are among the most peaceful protests you will find anywhere.
Peacemakers such as Gandhi, MLK, Mandela etc. have always encouraged non violent civil disobedience, if not aparteid might still exist in the U.S. and South Africa.

I have drifted through the SOAW gatherings at the Ft Benning back gate, albeit in a USMC shirt, and that probably garnered a few stares.  The protestors were entirely peaceful, and there were many veterans organisations present, including VFP.  (It's always interesting to me, as an aside, that some of the loudest "pro" war-woopers, have utterly no military service.)

*******

"Wesley told the early Methodists to gain all they could and save all they could so that they could give all they could. It means that I consider my money to belong to God and I see myself as one of the hungry people who needs to get fed with God’s money. If I really have put all my trust in Jesus Christ as savior and Lord, then nothing I have is really my own anymore."

The teabaggers and the OWS people are just two different sides of the same coin.  They are the exact same kind of people.  They both make about as much sense.

You can tell that's true by noting how much alike they look.

Vets for Peace are at most major protests/rallies not only at SOAW's.
They were there on Monday
