abcnews.go.com/Politics/record-shortfall... Obama, by contrast, has no such gap between the sexes; he's seen favorably by 56 percent of Americans overall, including 58 percent of women and 53 percent of men, surpassing Romney in both groups.' Will American women decide our next President?

“Feminism has fought no wars. It has killed no opponents. It has set up no concentration camps, starved no enemies, practiced no cruelties. Its battles have been for education, for the vote, for better working conditions…for safety on the streets…for child care, for social welfare…for rape crisis centers, women’s refuges, reforms in the law. If someone says, “Oh, I’m not a feminist,” I ask, “Why, what’s your problem?” Dale Spender |

When was the ABC poll taken, and when was the Gallup Poll taken? The publication dates mean squat. These two posts illustrate perfectly why I distrust polls, especially political polls. I'd like to see what questions were asked in each of these polls. Sometimes polls give conflicting results becausae the questions asked were either too general, too specific or just plain seeking different results. It's all too easy to word the questions in such a way that the answers are slanted in the direction the pollster wants.
"God is no captious sophister, eager to trip us up whenever we say amiss, but a courteous tutor, ready to amend what, in our weakness or our ignorance, we say ill, and to make the most of what we say aright." from 'A Learned Discourse on Justification', a sermon by Richard Hooker (1554-1600).

IN any case, the question is not so much national opinion (sorry California, Texas, New York) as it is the battleground states. Who's winning in Florida? Ohio? Missouri?

Romneh's problem is his boplessness. There's no bop in his bop she bop bop. He has no dip in his dip she dip dip.
