One has to remember republicans do not run for higher office and positions of power to help the public or help the country. They are in power to help themselves. at all cost and at everyone else's expense.

Those who vote republican seem to think nothing bad can happen to them, when big business cuts corners and poisons food, air, ground water. But they forget, they have to breath, eat and drink water too.

It is a hell of a lot easier to keep the water clean, and less expensive, then having to figure out how to purify it after big business and big industry have poisoned it.

And I guess they don't think their lungs will be affected by pollution either.
