Well, arielg is the LAST person there is to "write this murder spree off as collateral damage", so this response to his post is what is "absurd".  


Those who supported bringing full-fledged "war" down on the heads of the Afghan people for something somebody else did to us should have anticipated things like this ahead of time, and have little reason to P&M now.  They'd be better checking their "support the troops" magnets on their gas-guzzling vehicles, than finding fault with and lecturing to those who DID anticipate it ahead of time, and based their opinions about preemptive "war" on that anticipation.

It is good not to take things too seriously. "Talking past each other" takes new meanings all the time on these boards.
