Both NBC & Yahoo News are reporting that he news conference will be at 6:00 PM EDT, not 7:00. Link

I don't think a news conference will do any good. If they want to arrest the murderer it might be too late. He could be in Peru by now.

In Florida that means that no grand jury indictment is needed and no death penalty can be applied. It also means that the murderer did not "plan" on killing the victim.
