This article, while discussing the murder of Jews, cites the murder of three soldiers of Arab extraction.

The terrorist attack at the Jewish School which resulted in the deaths of Rabbi Jonathan Sandler; Gabriel Sandler, age 3; Aryeh Sandler, age 6; and Miriam Monsonego, age 8 had nothing to do with the proposed bans on Shakita and Halal slaughter. The French currently believe that the attack was a result of an Arab terrorist. However, it is to soon to say who was responsible with any certainty. With luck the French authorities will find the responsible party or parties.

You are right. It has no relations to how to slaughter an animal (That is the topic of the thread!).

The suspect is a Frenchman of North African descent who has trained in Afganistan and claims an affiliation with Al Queada.

any questions?

"The suspect has told police he belonged to al-Qaida and wanted to take revenge for Palestinian children killed in the Middle East, Interior Minister Claude Gueant said, adding the man was also angry about French military intervention abroad.

An Interior Ministry official identified the suspect as Mohamed or Mohammad Merah, who has been under surveillance for years for having "fundamentalist" views. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because the investigation is ongoing."

If this fellow is responsible, then even the Arabs need to be wary of "Al Qaida". Almost half his victims were Arabic.

For those who have faith, no explanation is neccessary.
For those who have no faith, no explanation is possible.

I think this holds in general, counting globally.

Just remember 'Al Qaeda in Iraq'. They killed fellow Arabs, almost exclusively.

That was really sad about that man who was killing the french soilders and the jewish school children.

There is going to be this kind of thing occasionaly I am afraid.  There is very little to impeed these kinds of people once they decide to start killing people.

There is some evidence that anti-semitism is increasing in France
