Oh, I thought I was paraphrasing Catboxer, and I ended up quoting Obama's pastor.

You and several other  “Christian/ Bible believing” or ”church goin” posts keep negating the sermon of Rev Wright. I am not a supporter of Wright, I am not a member of the UCC,  philosophical stance is Agnostic Taoist.

That said  I do have a  Christian  Biblically based(Baptist, SBC) Theological Education.

Reverend Wrights  “g** d*** America sermon is purely exegesis of  Luke 19:37-44 and his  phrase is Biblically, theologically sound .

Santorum also rejects evolution. That means his grasp of science is lacking. He's not qualified to speak on global warming being a hoax.

All he is doing is aping the current Republican fad of denying anything that stands in the way of raping the earth for short-term monetary gain.

These are actually conservative ideas. They are about conserving the resource base that we have.

As for capitalism, that is a liberal concept. It arose in reaction to the conservatism of Catholic-ruled Europe during the Renaissance.

As you can see, you have it all wrong.

If Rick Santorum wins the GOP nomination you can be sure of four more years of President Obama. What the Santorums and others of his ilk forget is that the US is a secular nation and there isn't a huge appetite to elect somebody as President who believes that all the problems in the US are a direct result of disopbeying what they perceive to be God's Laws.

I wonder what they see in his character, voting record, charisma, and political stances.

Nobama!

I was watching Brooksenshields on Catboxette's telly the other night, and David Brooks finally said something I agree with.

So he said "If President Obama was to face a Rick Santorum in the fall election it would make him very happy."

Then the DNCC should donate to Santorum's campaign!
