Does that you mean that you endorse supporters of political candidates falling for the bullshit of the opposition? Did you feel that way about Kerry and the Swiftboaters? What are you really saying? Have you even investigated this before throwing in your two cents?

It means I endorse Ebon's assessment of how Ron Paul's supporters behave. That's what I'm really saying. Have you even thought about what you type before you hit send? Any other silly questions?

What does Kerry have to do with anything? I didn't vote for the man and I thought the swift boat campaign was in poor taste, but within the rights of free speech. I don't think Rep. Paul has anything to do with any white supremacist organizations either.

What's your point? Besides assumptions?

Ebon did not address how any Paul supporters behave, but rather insulted them based on the idea that they are mindless and have no ability to think independently. I think very thoroughly about what I type, and since you claim to as well then that amounts to you also claiming that people you don't even know act in large groups in a completely mindless manner, and don't see that as being insulting.

You would be better off claiming to be hasty.

What has Kerry got to do with it? Wow, I don't think anything can be said to that. The lack of understanding speaks for itself, and I don't cast pearls before swine.

Mytmouse, there are also groups within the Nation of Islam who attempted to 'form a bridge' with Obama in 2007. They were not ridiculed, nor were they encouraged. This looks to be the same phenomenon, which is not at the discretion of the candidate. If a modern version of the Weathermen attempted to 'build a bridge' with Bernie Saunders, would you blame Saunders?

Ebon, your post was unnecessarily insulting and condescending, I expect better of you.

I get what you're saying, but there could be more to the story.

"Anonymous" has claimed to have hacked e-mails indicating that Paul has had considerable, personal contact with members WP groups.

I'm not saying that's true. But if it is, that's a whole other level than the Nation of Islam/Obama thing.

Someone started spamming my facebook about that 'Anonymous' e-mail hack, but could provide no evidence or links when pressed. All that is shown are claims, but no substance.

It should come as no big shock that a Paul attracts WP groups. Whether he sympathizes with them is another matter.

But no matter what he calls himself, many of Paul's ideas are sharply right-wing. And right-wing politics always draws racists and xenophobes.

WHEN Obama wins re election, I wonder what kind of desperate action some of these people will take.

For those who have faith, no explanation is neccessary.
For those who have no faith, no explanation is possible.

The dwarves of yore made mighty spells,
While hammers fell like ringing bells
In places deep, where dark things sleep,
In hollow halls beneath the fells.

For ancient king and elvish lord
There many a gloaming golden hoard
They shaped and wrought, and light they caught
To hide in gems on hilt of sword.

You guys are having fits because a white supremicist org has tried to form an alliance with the Ron Paul campaign.  Even though the campaign has not aknowledged any alliance???

You can't control who seeks your alliance.

As Father O said the highly racist and not a little bit crazy Nation of Islam tried to form an alliance with Obama.  Not sure if the Obama campaign reciprocated or not. Probably not.  But this kind of knee jerk judgementalism was not triggered then.
