Apparentluy they "... made his 'Putter' flutter ..."
teilhard -
I liked the Tiger Woods quip! LOL! A little Googling actually produced a list of some of those 'holes' from his 'one.'

And there's even a photo gallery:

So basically, the man gave up a phenomenal sports career to run a country. Clearly we are all the worse for his incredible sacrifice. Boy, the endorsements he missed out on!
Never defecated? Guess that explains his demeanor. Might even suggest a cause of death (he burst?).
Somehow, I doubt Tiger ever spent a second fretting over this guy's stats.
Irene.

Yeah, well ... While "The Great Leader" (reportedly) was handily scoring many Holes-in-One, "Tiger" (reportedly) was out there scoring too MANY "Holes" with HIS "One" ... (I CAN'T BELIEVE Fr. Teilhard posted THAT ... !!!) (8-)-[--[------- Fr. Teilhard -- with Vestigial Tale -- hurriedly scurries out of Range of incoming Hail of Rotten Eggs and over-Ripe Fruits and Veggies ...

Not only that, but he was a fashion icon who never needed to defecate: www.esquire.com/blogs/mens-fashion/kim-j... www.heraldsun.com.au/news/world/from-fas... But wait - there's more! Just before he died, the skies glowed red, and there was a deafening roar: www.nashuatelegraph.com/opinioneditorial...

On the less serious side- it also appears that we have lost one of the greatest athletes of our time. I read this in SI and literally fell off my chair laughing: sportsillustrated.cnn.com/vault/article/... DIED Of a heart attack at age 69, North Korean leader Kim Jong-il, whose sports prowess, as documented by official state media, often stretched the bounds of the imagination. According to the North Korean Ministry of Information, Kim shot 38 under par, including 11 holes in one, in his first golf outing. (As he aged, he was said to have only shot three or four aces per round.) His first attempt at bowling also reportedly yielded a 300. When not participating in sports, Kim was active with his country's national teams. During the 2010 World Cup, North Korean manager Kim Jong-hun said that he received "tactical advice during matches" from the supreme leader using an invisible cellphone that Kim Jong-il himself had invented.

Same here ... Unfortunately for US (The OTHER Nations), our "track record" isn't so GOOD thus far ... The Practice of ENCOURAGING The Isolation (and Paranoia !!!) of The North Korean Regime isn't ... helpful ... ("Axis of Evil," etc. ...)
I am now more concerned about how this boy would lead the nation and its nuclear projects.

He certainly WAS a Totalitarian Dictator in a Stalinist Mode ... Yes ...
Tpaine -
I understand the point you were making. But, I think that Kim was much more than just stupid and boorish, or even playfully malicious, as we might describe a jackass.
A jackass isn't evil, after all, and Kim was evil personified.
I equate Kim with Hitler, Stalin, Trujillo, Mao, Pol Pot, Idi Amin, Saddam Hussein, and Slobodan Milošević.
