duh ...

Obviously The Australian Government isn't privy to The U. S. Justice Department's Proceedings ...

Hello ... ???

But I agree ...

Assange is NO "Journalist" ... He's a Muck-raking SNOOP akin to fellow Aussie, Rupert Murdoch (who is ALSO in Trouble in a Hacking Scandal ... Hmmmm ...)

What a pack of @#$#%! He's reading from an American script.

Foreign Minister Bob Carr, who has declined to describe Mr Assange as a journalist, claimed last week that there was "not the remotest evidence" of any US government desire to prosecute the WikiLeaks founder.

I'm watching a commentary TV clip. Assange is indicted under the draconian 1917 US Espionage Act. And the Swedes can be relied upon to quickly extradite him to the USA. And he'll be treated like Manning, to conditions equivalent to torture! The 1917 US Espionage act was used to identify German spies. And capital punishment is a penalty! American assurance is not enough. So he deserves political asylum! Correa is predisposed toward granting it. He can face up to the United States. He expelled a US ambassador. He closed an American military base. And he's suing Chevron! He's a new kind of South American leader. He wants to do this correctly. And he needs to know how to extricate Julian Assange from his embassy in London, onto a `plane to Ecuador. That is the problem. Will signing a petition, help Assange? There have been tens of thousands of signatures on such petitions! This has a cumulative effect. This is about freedom of the press, and people need to speak up. Correa is listening. A decision will be in weeks. Assange is untouchable where he is. But how to get him to an airport without arrest?

Association fallacy.

An association fallacy is an inductive informal fallacy of the type hasty generalization or red herring which asserts that qualities of one thing are inherently qualities of another, merely by an irrelevant association.

Premonition.

If you go by WikiLeaks, Lugo’s removal reads like the chronicle of a foretold coup. According to cables from the US embassy in Paraguay leaked by WikiLeaks, the coup has been on the table since 2009.

Like it or not, Julian Assange is an International Fugitive, and a Bail-Jumper ... He dodged Authorities in Sweden and now he is TRYING to dodge Authorities in Great Britain ...

(This will SOMEDAY make a TERRIFIC made-for-TV Movie, with Ecuadorian Embassy Staff depicted busily even as we speak trying to put together a REALLY  REALLY  BIG  Sealed Diplomatic Pouch with Air Holes, so they can TRY to sneak The Cyber-Buglar Accused Rapist onto an AirPlane ... !!!)

An exceedingly RICH -- and CYNICAL and markedly HYPOCRITICAL -- sub-Text Irony here is that Julian Assange absolutely CERTAINLY no doubt would strongly OBJECT if British Authorities were found to be intercepting and reading Diplomatic Cables between The Ecuador Embassy in London and Quito, yes ... ???

Hello ... ???

ROTFLMAO

"Oh !!!  What a World, what a World ... !!!"

I continue to transcribe the Part 1 video of last Wednesday's forum.

Chairperson Mary Kostakidis introduces historian Humphrey McQueen. He's interested in society and democracy.

The audience applauds.

He says that he's again honoured to be with Christine Assange. It's five months since they were last together, in Sydney. She loves her son, and is committed to his principle that the story gets out! Others might hide in similar circumstances. But she repeatedly comes out.

There is loud, cheering applause!

That's like Terry Hicks did, to ensure that David Hicks could be here tonight. That battle inspired huge activity across Australia. This cornered the Howard government to act! They shouldn't have allowed the need for this in the first place.

Remember Mamdouh Habib, who refuses to be silent about being tortured. His government betrayed him, and has never defended him. It's continued to defend its partners in crime.

Millionaires treat our information sources like tokens on a Monopoly board! And the US Supreme Court has declared that money is speech. So speech won't be free, until the media cease to be a business!

After their meeting in Sydney, he was at a farewell party. And he was introduced to a senior Australian Labor Party (ALP) official. And the latter had asked what he'd been doing. So Humphrey promoted Julian. And he mentioned the Sydney meeting. The official denounced the people as conspiracy theorists! Humphrey retorted about a businessmen price-fixing. No, the ALP left doesn't think that's a conspiracy. The official turned away to find someone more congenial.

But tonight, Humphrey will talk about conspiracies. Yes, there are conspiracies. He will examine the terms "conspiracy" and "conspiracy theory". These relate to WikiLeaks, because there are many dots to connect. And so explain what goes on in the world. At his previous two meetings with Christine Assange, there were Congolese refugees. One of their leaders, who had been a mining engineer, was granted refugee status in Australia. He and his fellow Congolese enthusiastically supported WikiLeaks and Julian. That's because they've got more information about why twelve million Congolese have been murdered in the 50 years since their independence. And why their first Prime Minister, Patrice Lumumba was murdered. There is that side to the connection between WikiLeaks and conspiracy.

And then there is the conspiracy between the Australian, Swedish and US governments.

The ignorant and cynical will bleat "That's just a conspiracy theory."! No, that's a conspiracy fact. What are conspiracy facts? He won't bother discussing a conspiracy of the Knights Templar.

The audience laughs.

Such a grand conspiracy, destroys the credibility of documented conspiracies. He will give examples of those. There is an attack on the idea that information can be collated and explained. That is the "This is just a conspiracy theory." attack. It is also an attack on historical memory.

I continue to transcribe historian Humphrey McQueen's talk from last Wednesday's forum.

When politicians have been caught with their hand in the till or lying, they say "That's ancient history; that happened yesterday; we're moving on; I'm putting that behind me."! This is the political no-blame game. No-one's responsible for anything, because it all happened yesterday! So all our politicians have become born-again liars.

The audience laughs.

No-one's going to ask "Who did it?". Because if you do ask that, it proves that you're a conspiracy theorist!

The word means "to breathe (or whisper) together". It's simply that. But in practice, there's how they use it--and how we use it. They will use it for any activity that's aimed at them! And they have laws to prove that if you try to attack them or take power away from them, then you are conspiring. They want us to believe that they don't conspire. Rather, they perform normal government and law-and-order.

When business people conspire--they're just employing masters of business administration to do organisation and methods--in price-fixing and collusive tendering!

G'day teilhard:

He dodged Authorities in Sweden and now he is TRYING to dodge Authorities in Great Britain.

His diplomatic refuge took precedence!

a TERRIFIC made-for-TV Movie

I have repeatedly cited for you Web references of relevant video clips!

BIG  Sealed Diplomatic Pouch with Air Holes, so they can TRY to sneak

That ruse was tried by Nigeria. Customs officials thwarted it.

Is The Julian Assange Devotee Movement planning/pushing RIGHT NOW to have ALL the ongoing and incoming current daily/hourly Diplomatic Cables between the Ecuador Embassy in London and the Government of Ecuador made PUBLIC ... ?

That is idle speculation.
