What did the location of boarding really have to do with anything. They were approached and told to turn back or be boarded. They chose to be boarded. Your "opinion" on whether or not the blockade is legal in international waters, is irrelevant. The point is that the IDF was attacked when it boarded the ship. Simple. If you have aid and nothing else to be concerned with, why the provocation and incitement? Missing videos, etc is simply another conspiracy theory. There is plenty of video that is readily available that depicts the truth. . |

And again ... tirelessly ... The Israeli Government INVITED The Turkish "Aid" Folks to send their "Aid" THROUGH Israel, AFTER proper sensible LEGAL Examination of The "Aid" to ensure that it WAS entirely and only "Humanitarian" Supplies and NOT Contraband ... The Confrontation-Seekers REFUSED ... precisely BECAUSE they were SEEKING to PROVOKE a Confrontation with The IDF ... They got their wish ... |

The attack was the boarding of the ship, not that they were attacked when boarding the ship. Very simple. |

I disagree: the people controlling the MM *at the time it was boarded* were NOT the captain and crew (who'd been sent below), but the group of confrontation-seeking "peace activists" who were looking for an 'incident' where they could live out their fantasies of 'martyrdom'. There were no such 'peace activists' on the other 5 ships. There was no such violence on the other 5 ships. The constant was the IDF action: only on the MM did this action result in violence. The relevant factor is the attitude of the 'peace activists' who deliberately sought a violent confrontation.

Or because they desired to have a confrontation with the IDF, so that they could achieve their true goal of becoming martyrs for their cause (of defeating Israel). The group of people aboard the MM were not 'aid workers': some of them were hardcore idealogues (and their 'useful idiot' patsies) who came prepared to engage in violence. HOPING to engage in violence...... And yes, that was all by their free will. As much 'free will' as one can have growing up with a State-owned press churning out 'agitprop'......... |

For those who have faith, no explanation is neccessary.
For those who have no faith, no explanation is possible. St. Thomas Aquinas If one turns his ear from hearing the Law, even his prayer is an abomination. Proverbs 28:9 |

Hamas is a terrorist organization. Those who aid and abet terrorism are likewise terrorists. Hamas is as terrorist as anyone defending their group with violence. Like any army, or any other mercenary, paid to kill on orders, fights for thei people. Branding them terrorists is a convenient way to dismiss and ignore what they stand for, just like calling them anti-Semitic or whatever meaningless epithet one has in store to feel selfrighteous. |
