In the South, boric acid is a joke.  For every roach you see, there are 18 you don't see.  So, if you have 5000 roaches, boric acid might kill 3.  I tried all the natural remedies and ended up making a bad problem worse. 

Boric Acid properly applied will REDUCE -- not eliminate -- Roaches ...

They walk through the Powder, which clings to their legs and feet ... They lick it off ... In the Gut, it produces GAS, which EXPLODES the little Buggers ...

The nice thing about Boric Acid is, it's NOT a Toxic Organo-Phosphate Nervous System Poison ... and the Buggers do NOT become immune to it ...

Boric Acid HELPS ...

And ALSO Dried Bay Leaves and Banana Peels have REPELLENT Effects ...

I do use it.  I just think of it as more superstition than anything. LOL  Sort of like hanging garlic over the front door.
