While I am off reading Ken's article, here is a little something you all should see. Non-Violence Training from the Free Gaza MovementWhen Greta Berlin, a leader of the Free Gaza Movement appeared on CNN yesterday (June 1, 2010) she stated that the activists involved in the "humanitarian" flotilla were trained in how to respond non-violently to an Israeli boarding of their vessels. Is this what she meant by non-violent training? blog.camera.org/archives/2010/06/nonviol... or h!!p://blog.camera.org/archives/2010/06/nonviolence_training_from_the.html |

Ken I don't know that I can argue a whole lot with most of what Friedman says. |

These parents must be very proud of their sons and daughters. Many, many prayers are said for them continually. ~~~ He Who blessed our forefathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - may He bless the fighters of the Israel Defense Force, who stand guard over our land and the cities of our God from the border of Lebanon to the desert of Egypt, and from the Great Sea unto the approach of the Aravah, on the land, in the air, and on the sea. May HASHEM cause the enemies who rise up against us to be struck down before them. May the Holy One, Blessed is He, preserve and rescue our fighting men from every trouble and distress and from every plague and illness, and may He send blessing and success in their every endeavor. May He lead our enemies under their sway and may He grant them salvation and crown them with victory. And may there be fulfilled for them the verse: For it is Hashem, your God, Who goes with you to battle your enemies for you to save you. Now let us respond: Amen. |

A word from Bibi Speaking live to the nation, Netanyahu said, "The State of Israel faces an attack of international hypocrisy. This is not the first time we have faced this, two years ago we faced a massive attack of missiles fired by Hamas who hid behind civilians. Israel went to great lengths to avoid civilian casualties but who did the UN condemn? It condemned Israel." . . . It is our right according to International law to prevent arms smuggling to Gaza and that is why the naval blockade was put in place. The flotilla intended to break the blockade, not to bring in emergency supplies which we allow to reach Gaza" . . . "The takeover of five of the ships passed quietly. In the sixth ship, our soldiers encountered an extreme group that supports Hamas terror. This wasn't the "love boat" this was a flotilla of terror supporters." . . . www.jpost.com/Home/Article.aspx?id=17728... or h!!p://www.jpost.com/Home/Article.aspx?id=177286
Like him or loathe him, Bibi is absolutely correct in this instance. This is not a question of humanitarian aid for a beleaguered population. This is not some 21st century Berlin Air Lift. Thousands of tons of aid a day are delivered to Gaza from Israel by Israel, NGO's and foreign governments. The humanitarian needs of the population of Gaza are being met despite the best efforts of their rulers - Hamas - to prevent it. This is a question of national survival for the State of Israel. If the flotilla wanted to deliver aid - they would have done so through the regular channels. Their intent was not to deliver aid but to cause death (their own and/or others) and violence. They were armed and dangerous. The members of the flotilla should be condemned by every moral person. |

CBN is biased. But then so is 'commondreams'. Big surprise: humans can't be completely objective. |

It is hypocrisy for members of radical Islam to pretend to enlist in humanitarian aid endeavors. These martyr-wannabes were screaming Islamic chants and saying martyrdom would be even better than getting through the blockade. The Palestinians themselves are being played like chess pieces in a game which will only end with the destruction of the Jewish State. This religious hatred has engulfed the world -- and none are so blind as those who have eyes but refuse to see it. These Palestinians will be sacrificed if and when convenient by Hamas and by the whole production company's puppeteer, Ahmadinejad. What is beyond comprehension is that many in the international community are willingly siding with those who don't respect human life at all. Humanitarian aid is futile when death is just as welcomed. ### Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that change darkness into light, and light into darkness; that change bitter into sweet, and sweet into bitter! Iran, Hamas seek global anti-Israel bloc June 2, 2010 The Jerusalem Post reports: “An international front to break the blockade on the Gaza Strip should be formed, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Tuesday in a phone conversation with Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh of Hamas, the Teheran Times reported. ‘This criminal action revealed the real nature of the Zionists,’ Ahmadinejad said, adding that now the approach of countries toward this outrageous action would be a ‘test for their honesty.’ According to the Teheran Times report Haniyeh said that Iran is the only nation that has always been on the side of the Palestinian nation. ‘We should try to revive the Palestinian nation’s violated rights and end the siege of Gaza,’ he added. On Monday, Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki thanked Europe and the international community for the ‘harsh response’ to Israel's ‘barbaric commando operation,’ saying Iran identified with the ‘shahids’ who were killed in the IDF raid on the Gaza-bound flotilla…” ### |

The people who were aboard the ship, attempting to break Israel's blockade of Gaza, were fired upon by savage pirates while they were in international waters. The Israeli pirates fired their machine guns before they boarded, aiming at heads and chests as Israel runs their sixty year old concentration camp. If only the Israeli military had the wits to show that they had any respect for human life. Pirate murderers are a bitter and damned lot.
