So again, you have no problem with denying anyone associated with "Focus on the Family" their Constitutional right of free speech?

Too bad this is the USA and not some third world dictatorship. 

I'm GLAD that CBS stuck to its guns and is running the ad.  It's also running a Planned Parenthood counter-ad as well.

Let me be clear.  I think Focus on the Family has every right to produce and find donors to run whatever ad they wish to put forth. 

Likewise, I and others have the right to protest against their ad.

Originally, I used the word propaganda rather than ad.  I realized that I was jumping to conclusions based on their past actions.  Since I have not yet seen the ad, I did change the word propaganda to ad.

I am absolutely not a supporter of abortion.  I look forward to the day when abortions are virtually non-existent.  However, I am a huge supporter of individual rights.  And, I realize that my beliefs do not trump another persons individual rights.

Did I say something like that?    It isn't Planned Parenthood or NOW or NARAL who decided the Super Bowl would be the best place to undermine doctors with a multimillion dollar ad.  

As for CBS airing a counter-ad by Planned Parenthood during the Super Bowl, I'll have to see it.  I do know that Planned Parenthood has produced a video with famous athletes voicing their support of womens' right to choose; I have not seen a report that shows CBS will run it during the Super Bowl.  

Ad or no ad, my beef is with the untruth promulgated in the title of this thread, which is what set the "topic"

The OP is a gratuitous swipe at "liberals" when the demonization is actually against womens' rights groups/activists.  

It would have been one thing to discuss the ad and the opposition to it without the narrow-minded ad homs, quite another to blast all liberals while at the same time refusing to consider, even for a second, the reasoning behind the opposition.

Hard to argue with that, although I've no doubt the foot soldiers of the anti choice movement will summarily reject the wisdom of that statement, too, in all their pent up, emotional outrages.

No reason to get mad.  You shall see your ad.  It won't change anybody's mind.  Certainly won't "unmask" the women of NOW as being the godless whatever the OP thinks they are.

I say we pull the shirt off Mrs. Tebow at halftime and see if she's secretly wearing a nipple-pierced star on her breast. This will prove once and for all that's she's a closet Women's Rights Activist and only doing the FOTF commercial for the money. Do it with The Who singing Who Are You and fireworks. ... and no teleprompters.
