Islam doesn't need to be whoremongers. they can buy as many wives if they wanted too.
It says in the scriptures to judge a king by his people. If his people is corrupted, that means that the king is also corrupted. It like children, saying if my mommy and daddy do it, then it must be okay for me to do also. So Jimmy Swaggart and the rest did it because their environment and their king is weak like King Solomon. Like right now, I'll be afraid to argue with airport security. But before the 9/11 incident. I wasn't afraid at all. Whatever society permitted it will keep going on.

Prostitution is a capital offense under Sharia Law. That keeps the number of whores to a minimum.
So you don't blame the people, you blame the environment. It wasn't Pastor Ted Haggard's fault he repeatedly hired a male prostitute over the period of three years and bought crystal methamphetamine from him, it was the environment's fault. Is it OK for Christians to commit adultery because they see others doing it? The people I mentioned are all American Christians. Edwards was a US Senator, Ensign still is one, Pickering was a US Congressman, and Sanford is a Governor. Which mommies and daddies were they watching? The last time I looked there is no king in America. We booted out King George III over two hundred years ago. Long before 9/11 we had a problem with airliner hijackings. Back then they used to force the planes to land in Cuba. Castro stopped that by throwing the hijackers into Cuban jails for extended periods. Why would you want to argue with airport security? They're just trying to do their job. If you want to see real security, try flying El Al Israel Airlines Ltd. They don't play around and if you try to argue with them I guarantee you'll miss your flight. BTW, there has only been one successful hijacking of an El Al flight and that was way back in 1968.
"When it shall be said in any country in the world, my poor are happy; neither ignorance nor distress is to be found among them; my jails are empty of prisoners, my streets of beggars; the aged are not in want, the taxes are not oppressive; the rational world is my friend, because I am a friend of its happiness: When these things can be said, then may the country boast its constitution and its government." -- Thomas Paine: The Rights Of Man (1791)

What scripture is that
All through the scriptures. God is saying that the head is responsible for the body's action. If a part of the body is not being submissive to the head, cut it off. In the Book of Joshua. Joshua's army was winning battles after battles. until one time they had lost a battle. God told Joshua why his army failed in battle is because of one of his people had sin against Him. So Joshua had cut off the man that sin against God and the man entire family also. We all supposed to be cut off. because our head(Adam) had sin, But now a new Head came without sin. now it's up to us to be apart of this new Head. Did you ever cut off a branch off an orange tree and graph it to a lemon tree. and the fruits on that branch become an lemon-orange fruit. Imagine if a bad tree branch going on an Good tree. That branch will be in the processed of producing good fruits instead of being use as fire wood.
Now we're freed so that we our responsible for our own actions. Unless by choice we choose to be under a new Master that will take the blame for our sins, But He can cut us off, also.
Paul Woodruff argues ("First Democracy") that official state-sponsored monotheism is inimicable to democracy. Between Constantine in the fourth century and the Enlightenment at the end of the seventeenth, there was no room for democracy in the West. Our Founding Fathers carefully kept any private religious beliefs they held out of the structure of our nation.
As someone who believes not only in the separation of Church and State, but who believes that the very concepts of "Church" and "State" are diametrically opposed to one another the idea of a "Christian nation" makes about as much sense to me as the idea of a square circle. Church and State are not two spheres of authority, as has oftentimes been said, but are two completely opposite ways of comprehending human interpersonal activity.
The State is an organization of power and glory, the Church is an organization of suffering and weakness. The State, by its very existence, is opposite of Christ, His Kingdom and His Church; who teaches that "the greatest must be the least" and that mercy triumphs over retributive justice. Whose life in all that it encapsulates demonstrates the absolute and utter poverty of the powers and principalities and in His death He makes a mockery of them. The moment Caesar had Christ nailed to the tree he showed himself to be the loser--despite all his pomp and splendor, Caesar has failed. Caesar is fallen. Babylon is fallen, she is fallen and dead. -Jon
What I'd like to know is where they stuck business enterprises when they were separating "Church and State (Government)." The scriptures record Jesus was diametrically opposed to sales transactions occurring in the "temple". Myself, I think we need to keep these business interests out of our government, as well, which I don't really think has happened despite all the rhetoric about private outside interests (businesses). They may not be there explicitly, but they are always there covertly, in one way or another, attempting often successfully to "stack the (legislation) deck" to provide better business climates for their particular industries. I would cite the example of the American automakers, that have not only "stacked the deck" to favor their industry, but have been able to make the whole American life style revolve around wheels.
"If you believe you are going to reign with and/or rule the the earth with a returned Jesus Christ, and you have any points of disagreement with Him, then you are at odds not only with Christ, but His Father in heaven." Christian Commander-in-Chief.
Oftentimes, "the brass ring only comes around once," so if you chose to oppose or harass Him, you have no one to blame but yourself.

Granted, this probably isn't the most appropriate place to be discussing this topic, but did figure to respond to this point.
I think it's fair to debate whether Jesus actually had a problem with "transactions occurring in the temple", I think Jesus chose His words carefully when He said they were turning a House of prayer into a den of robbers. And that's because of the specific form of corruption going on during those transactions. They were money changers, they converted Roman currency (which, having the face of the emperor and the claim that he was the son of the divine would be idolatrous, especially in the Holy Temple) into temple currency. The exchange rate was far from fair, and it was the poor who were suffering because of it. The system was oppressive and amounted to robbing from faithful pilgrims who, bringing their animals to the Temple were told they were inadequate, so would have to exchange their money for temple currency to purchase specially approved animals for sacrifice.
Jesus' actions specifically and entirely targeted that system, so he turned over the money changers tables, and drove the animals out--he interrupted the whole system of corruption. An act of social justice on behalf of the poor and downtrodden.
Had the transactions been just and equitable, there would have been no reason for Jesus to cause a commotion.

I fear that we're heading towards being dominated by the Talibeck.
I have to agree with that. Fortunately, I managed to miss his "I Have A Scheme" speech yesterday.
