Dark Energy. It can be found in the observable Universe. Found in ratios of 75% more than any other substance. Dark Energy. It can be found in religious extremists, in cheerleaders. To come to the conclusion that Dark signifies mean and malevolent would define 75% of the Universe as an evil force. Alternatively, to think that some cheerleaders don't have razors in their snatch is to be foolishly unarmed.

''The Religious Right, primarily through Pat Robertson's Christian Coalition, is seeking to take over America's public schools. In school board elections they have been remarkably successful in electing "Christian" candidates (Christian as they narrowly define it). They often run what have been described as "stealth" campaigns, not generally acknowledging who their candidates are, with political advertising limited only to certain churches with specific ideological bents. In other areas, the stealth nature of the campaign is to hide the full range of radical change that is sought by the candidate, focusing instead on only one or two areas. "Hiding your light under a bushel" in American politics is dishonorable. Democracy depends on having voters hear what candidates really think about the range of matters that will come before them."*
Because of this I believe that the media, and the voters during meet the candidate meetings, have an obligation to question the candidates on all their beliefs and positions concerning those things they would be in a position to vote for or against in the office for which they are running. Persistent questioning is the only way to expose these stealth candidates. *Taken from Why The Religious Right Is Wrong About Separation Of Church & State by Robert Boston Copyright 1993 by Rob Boston Published by Prometheus Books
"When it shall be said in any country in the world, my poor are happy; neither ignorance nor distress is to be found among them; my jails are empty of prisoners, my streets of beggars; the aged are not in want, the taxes are not oppressive; the rational world is my friend, because I am a friend of its happiness: When these things can be said, then may the country boast its constitution and its government." -- Thomas Paine: The Rights Of Man (1791)

Sounds like an interesting book, Paine. I need to add that to my "must read" list! :D
