I noticed that too, Lee -- the numbered or unnumbered lists don't work on beliefnet,
despite what is claimed. I am sorry, cannot be of help here. But what concerns the cutting and pasting: what's the problem here? Are your posts still cut off in the middle? Something that works for me occasionally is to first paste the text in Notepad, then cut it from there and paste it here (without fancy formatting) -- usually works... - - - Now for something more usual here: The thread "Peace talks between Isreal and Palistine" was moved to the Middle East board. See here

Just curious. I was once a tremendous hater around here, and have a pretty bad rep. I'm a new man, now, years later. Some folks still remember the old me, however. Trust me.....I've changed.

Char, this might sound cheesy but I wanted to say you do a great job with this board. I host some other boards here and I know it is not exactly an easy job at times.
More where that came from...

Hey, thanks, BeautifulDreamer! :)
Where do you host? And, no, Cid, thus far I did not intervene with your posts. I became host because I was annoyed with spammers not being monitored and certain posters abusing the site for copying newspaper articles without adding any own thought. I like quality discussions. Should perhaps more often contribute to that ideal myself. But, concerning hosting: while unsolicited ad homs only dilute discussions, what's the thrill about a debate when people are reined in as soon as it gets hot?

Man, it's too early for my brain to function properly. You're a champion of free speech. Good on ya. Yeah.....I never read the massive articles people post. No time or patience. |
