This is a promise of God for He will meet all our needs, and we will not bare the pains of this world, no scorching heat, after He returns.

These are the wonderful promises of Almighty God, Who will return after the tribulation of Antichrist. As 2 Thessalonians 8-9 states......

2 Thessalonians 8 And then shall that wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of His mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming:

8:9 Even Him, whose coming is AFTER THE WORKING OF SATAN with all power and signs and lying wonders.

At the end of all three of his versions of the judgment story John wrote pastoral encouragement to the Christians who were suffering under the persecution of Domitian reassuring them that they would win in the end.

The disagreement between pre- & post-millennialists is evidence that God had nothing to do with writing the Bible. Had he done so there would be no need to interpret what the message is. It would be absolutely clear and universally understood. As it is, both sides claim that their view is correct and the other side doesn't understand what they are reading.

Hey, I was addressing the topic until John came along after a long absence with his absurd taunts.

While I think they did deserve a response, I apologise if anything I wrote distracted from the topic at hand.
