Revelation 16:1 And I heard a great voice out of the Temple saying to the seven angels, "Go your ways and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth."

Time element concerns when Antichrist is here and has been reigning. There was given a 7 year duration, and in the middle of that time (3 1/2 years) Antichrist would take rule; but this is no longer the case, for God had to shorten the time, or else even God's very Elect would be deceived. Satan is no dummy! The time element from Revelation 9:5 is a 5 month period!

16:2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievious sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.

Sore=ulcer

Which worshipped=those worshipping, the beast, Antichrist and his system.

16:3 And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.

Living soul=soul of life, literally.

Soul=creature.

16:4 And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of wates; and they became as blood.

Remember the plagues of Egypt during the Exodus!

16:5 And I heard the angel of the waters say, "Thou art righteous, O Lord, Which art, and wast, and shalt be, because Thou hast judged thus.

And shalt be="Thou Holy One" judged.

16:6 For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and Thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.

The saints have been murdered from the beginning, as well as, the prophets, how many saints deemed by man have been murdered? Are they actual saints? God tells us different, many of the Apostles died tragic deaths, and most of all, the Lord and Saviour Jesus. Satan's own is the generations since the beginning behind it! They will get their just reward!

16:7 And I heard another out of the altar say, "Even so LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, true and righteous are Thy judgments."

Another out of, texts omit. Supply ellipsis with angel of the waters verse 5.

"LORD GOD ALMIGHTY" full title, marking His judgments as true and righteous, God's wrath is warranted for the enemy and comes to pass.

16:8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and the power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.

16:7 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, Which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give Him glory.

Common sense tells us, the key thing to protection during this time: is if you love God and give Him the glory, God has the power over the plagues; therefore God will protect or sheild those that call on His name from these plagues. We have nothing to fear, for if God is with us, who can be against us? Answer: No one or thing!

Solar flares have been in the news quite a bit, just something to think about.

The Revelation says the antichrist is a man, (See Rev. 13:18)

The Revelation unfolds over many centuries and cannot possibled all take place in 7 years in the future. 

The first plague is skin cancer, which has been poured out on Aryans which is the image Hitler and his followers worshipped. It is especially poured out on those who worship the suntanned Aryan look.

The 2nd plague is red tides. Scientists say that due to red tides and overfishing, all the fish in the seas will be dead by 2048.

The 3rd plague is poluted frwsh water.

The 4th plague is global warming. Christians are not protected from it.

God should have written it with less apocalyptic symbolism and more clarity. Then again, if John of Patmos wrote it himself he would have known the people at the end of the first century, for whom he write it, would understand what what his symbols were meant to represent.

All interpretations of the Revelation fall in two classes, historicist and futurist. I am a historicist and Nancy is a futurist. That is why we do not agree on anything.

I love it when two "TRUE BELIEVERS" can't agree on what their "holy book" means. Since neither of you ever got to meet John of Patmos and ask him to tell you what he meant all you can do is either guess on your own or accept the interpretation of others who also never met him.

Most professional archaeologists and Egyptologists believe there was no massive exodus from Egypt. The plagues that have been mentioned in ancient Egyptian records seem to date to the eruption of the volcano Thera (now known as Santorini) between 1627–1600 BCE.

If God is going to punish murderers, a lot of Christians will be on that list. There were thousands of people murdered during the various Inquisitions and Crusades. Jesus was a man who preached the philosophy of Hillel the Elder and was executed by Rome because they feared he could become the leader of a rebellion in Judea. While the crucification was unjustified, it was standard Roman practice at the time.

That is a view held by a small minority of Christians. Most Christians, and non-Christians don't believe in a wrathful God(s) or Goddess(es). Atheists don't believe in any, wrathful or not. Yet that small minority uses this forum to preach their message of coming doom and gloom for all those they can't convert.
