Interpreter, that is an interesting mapping layout of the churches, I'm not that familiar with it, and I will look into it; although, what I do know, is that many of the churches in the Middle East, Europe and Asia, have the same numerical measurements as the Temple of Solomon.

In the Apocalyse "AKA Revelation" the language of the Book is Greek; it's thoughts and idioms are Hebrew, linking it with the Old Testament=OT, showing it's great purpose is to declare God's final dealing with God's enemies and His People, Israel being the scattered from the dispersions, in many lands around the world, and who think they are gentiles and are not, but are what some call the "Lost Tribes of Israel." Not that God lost anyone, but they lost who they were, because of traditions of men.

In Revelation, they are 285 quotes from the OT,and most definitely tying it to the OT and Israel.

The Churches: Revelation 2 summarized.... 

That which is written unto the angel of the  Church of Ephesus......God says good things concerning this one church, yet, God says, "Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left the first love."

The first church and/or church system, mentioned has failed, by leaving it's first love, which would be Almighty God......most likely went into traditions of men. Repentence is called for.

That which is written unto the angel of the Church of Smyrna, God know thy works and tribulations and poverty (but thou art rich) And I know the blasphemy of them that say they are of King David's house, and are not, but are of the assembly of Satan.

This Church, Almighty God sees favor with, Smyrna, for what they teach and their loyality to God.

That which is written to the angel of the church of Pergamos.....You hold fast My name and has not denied My faith........although this church has an emblem which was the serpent, I know thy works , even where Satan's seat is; this had Babylonian tyes, and also identified with the worship of Apollo. God says: But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit fornication,and they hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes, which thing I hate.

You will find that with all the Churches, God finds good in them, but in five God has something gravely against them, unless they repent and turn back to God; or the sword of the LORD's Mouth will fight against them, that two-edge sword which cuts through lies both ways, then God will expose them for their lies, faults, and betrayal.

That which is written unto the angel of the church of Thyatira.....saith the Son of God...I know thy works, and charity, service, faith and thy patience......not withstanding, I have a few things against thee because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce My servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed to idols. This patroness of Baal-worship will have her sinister type in the future, if not already established.

Yet, for the good that these churches have, they must maintain the good, and repent for all their evil ways: And he that overcometh, and keepeth My works unto the end, to him I give power over the nations.

Revelation chapter 2 ends with: He that hath an ear to hear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

The Spirit of Almighty God.

We have touched on what the Lord feels about these four churches or church systems, only one church, so far God sees favor with, the other four have a bit of repenting and changing of ways to do, or be punished more severely.

This is to show you, that judgment begins at the PULPIT! Those who God gives much, He expects much! Their crimes are more severely punished, because of Who they represent! Crimes of the Church, no matter who they are, are never to be just swept under the rug!

The 7 letters are also addressed to the 7 golden lampstands of the future. Seven promises are made to the Church that conquers. Jesus is talking about military conquest.

What does Jesus have to do with it? By the time Revelation was written, he was dead as a door nail, and dead men tell no tales. The poor bugger never knew that such a thing as Christianity existed, much less that there were churches dedicated to his worship. Dead is dead.
