Recently a mosque has been firebombed in Belgium. The Imam died trying to douse the flames.
For those who have faith, no explanation is neccessary.
For those who have no faith, no explanation is possible.

It was probably an anti-shite attack by a sunni.  But the news reports don't go into that much detail.


It is sad about the Imam.  He is supposed to be 47 which means he probably has young children at home.

Why would you say that?  The attacker could have almost more easily been a atheist.  In this case it was a muslim.

You're spot on, Erey. According to the BBC the arsonist is a Salafist (a very conservative Sunni sect). The Imam's name was reported to be Abdallah Dadou and he had four children. Link

That appears to be the case.


One does not have to be a Christian to hate Muslims.


It helps. There is an anti-Muslim hate filled hysteria running through Europe lately.

Indeed, but all it takes is two muslims of different sects. Or one muslim and some other theist. Or a christian and some other person. Or . . .
