all power is in His hands.  We are not going anywhere.  Don't listen to predictions of doom. 

The Mayan calendar, like many ancient calendars, had long cycles...2000 years, 12,000 years, more. 

Their calendar cycle simply ends in 2012...not the end of the world...just that calendar cycle.

That's all.

they just never did the calculations for the next cycle.

Many here will agree with you that Odin will not distroy the world. He is one of the many gods who will stand with man at the end of things.

Point of order: Who's hands are "His" hands?

Dark Energy. It can be found in the observable Universe. Found in ratios of 75% more than any other substance. Dark Energy. It can be found in religious extremists, in cheerleaders. To come to the conclusion that Dark signifies mean and malevolent would define 75% of the Universe as an evil force. Alternatively, to think that some cheerleaders don't have razors in their snatch is to be foolishly unarmed.
