Hi All,


I think the "Ultimate Truth" is that which can be proven to be true.  Science can do that in many instances.  There are some things that cannot be proven, but science and physicians are working on it.  What we can't prove is why religions kill each other and have for centuries.  The only proof we have is that they do it to retain power.

Once again, the Douglas Adams quote comes to mind:

Dark Energy. It can be found in the observable Universe. Found in ratios of 75% more than any other substance. Dark Energy. It can be found in religious extremists, in cheerleaders. To come to the conclusion that Dark signifies mean and malevolent would define 75% of the Universe as an evil force. Alternatively, to think that some cheerleaders don't have razors in their snatch is to be foolishly unarmed.

You could say the ultimate truth is that which is compelling you to look for the ultimate truth.

The thing is, I am not compelled to look for any ultimate truth. I really have no interest in any ultimate truth
