Perhaps love means the natural law put in operation by God. And perhaps it is not found in a stale book but in the spirit of God in all things through our consciousness. Of course God loves all people - they were given free will to choose the law or to disobey it. In choosing the law is love, care, healing, wellness, all good qualities. In disobeying we reap the opposite of these qualities and wonder - where is God? God bless, J |

Jesus said to fear God who can put you in Hell. Solomon said the begining of wisdon is fear of God. God commands us to LOVE HIM because He is not always loveable. Deuteronomy 30:15 Choose life |

: )) But Happy - GOD isn't going to ask you what Jesus or Solomon said: He's going to want you to explain your own understanding of His Word to him. As a Jew, I have ample word in Scripture that GOD loves the righteous of all nations and belief systems. And of course as everyone should know, whatever Jesus said is generally about as meaningful to Jews as anything the Buddha or anyone else's 'prophet' had to say. Especially when it's about nonJewish concepts like a place of eternal torment (Hell).... |

This is a muti faith site,so Jesus is important to some. We need to know what rules to follow, so we look to scripture from Moses, Solomon, etc for an understanding of God's will in our life. If we can make up our own rules then Hitler would be right. There is definately a Hell in Jewish Tanack. See Isaiah 66:24 or Daniel 12:2 |

Some Jews like Kabbalists may not accept the hell as eternal. It makes sense. See 4.2 in www.veda.harekrsna.cz/encyclopedia/reincarnation.htm Hare Krishna |

The idea of a punishment of eternal torment is not something central to Judaism. We don't act 'to be saved from Hell' - that's not in the literature very often. We are to act to please YHVH, to follow Torah, to be holy unto YHVH - but I don't see 'Hell' as a factor. It certainly wasn't/isn't/won't be for me. |

YES! God is Love & God created all people, & God loves all people & hopes they will all choose to accept God's love! The paradox of humanity is that we're so easily distracted from this accepting of God's love and from living in alignment with it. But it's the only way to true peace & joy! God bless all who read this! Sara |

Heaven and Hell are not places you go to but are a state of mind and life God puts you into either in this life or your next one. Jesus said the Kingdom of God is at hand. Moses knew after he didn't agree with Joshua and Caleb and take Israel into the Promised Land, he also would have to wander for 40 years without his reward. The commandment is to love God, because He isn't always loveable. |

I love my pets more than the Biblical God loves people. That is why I don't believe in the Biblical God. The God I know is radically different but He is not Christian. I do believe the God I know loves all people. I am unable to love all people and don't think that I am not aware of how that disappoints God. God loves even the unlovable because God understands WHY people are unlovable. He knows that not all unlovability is changeable by the person. Only He can judge what we choose and what we are burdened with. We are unable to get that about people. That is why I believe Jesus tells us not to judge because we are lousy at it. We want to judge/love without facts. Sometimes, the results of the facts are not pretty and we can't get past that. |

Those who love their pets, train them to make them more enjoyable, such as don't bite, don't destroy shoes, potty train, etc. This is what God does with us. God does want us to judge so we can have good peer presure. The command is to not be unequally yoked. My dog thinks I am God! |
