I was born into a Christian family, and while I have a deep appreciation for Jesus, Mohammed, and other religions my personal experiences with the Light and Sound of God as a child made me a seeker after truth that I could prove for myself. I had dreams with departed loved ones and an out-of-body experience when I first learned to meditate. The fear of death was removed, and I began to understand my reason for being in this world. I am Soul (I don't have a Soul, I have a body) and I am here to learn Divine Love in the material world...Eckankar simply explained the truths I was discovering within myself and my personal relationship with God.
The Light and Sound within (real experiences which open the heart. Call it the Word, the Tao, etc.) are the way that God speaks directly to us. Blessings, Mark |

Dark Energy. It can be found in the observable Universe. Found in ratios of 75% more than any other substance. Dark Energy. It can be found in religious extremists, in cheerleaders. To come to the conclusion that Dark signifies mean and malevolent would define 75% of the Universe as an evil force. Alternatively, to think that some cheerleaders don't have razors in their snatch is to be foolishly unarmed.

Does the word "Eckankar" have any relation to the Adi Shakti mantra (Ek Ong Kaar Sat Naam Siri Wahe Guru)?
