I like being a Christian because I feel like it allows me to grasp onto something real that I can relate to on a personal level. Jesus was a real person with real joys, sorrows, troubles, and life experiences. He understands what it's like to hurt and experience love and basically what it's like to be human. It also creates in me a huge sense of being loved. My God loved me enough to become someone just like me and go through everything I go through and even die in my place. I therefore have no reason to feel worthless or unwanted. Jesus is also a huge role-model to me and loved unconditionally the way I wish to love people. I have a personal God who amazes me in every way. That's why I like being a Christian.
