I would try Radiant Church or United Methodist Church. I know you can get your foot in and, depending on your experience, become a marketing director. Radiant is always hiring for some kind of a position, that would probably be your best bet. Expanding Churches are always looking for ways to bring more people in to hear the word of god. I am an event planning and marketing professional wanting to leave my job in California and head out the the dessert. I just LOVE it there for whatever reason and feel I need to move that way for the next stage of my life. I would love to find work there that uses my event planning and marketing skills, but perhaps in a bit more spiritual way. Maybe setting up speakers series on spiritual topics? I am not sure, but would love any creative ideas you in the BeliefNet community could give.
