I think it's only fair to explain to those who weren't around at the time of the OP, the author, allthegoodnamesweretaken, started this thread as a joke. The intent was to show Friend!, who was using this form to proselytise his beliefs in violation of the ROC, that such a concept was useless in changing the beliefs of someone who could be classified as a confident believer. Other posters, most of whom no longer bother to post here following the "upgrade," went along with the joke by offering bribes to get the OP to go along with their belief system. The bottom line is, it was not intended to be a serious thread.
