You are always claiming that the "odds" are too great for mutations to add up. Well, isn't God more powerful than the odds? Can't God make mutations add up? Isn't that part of his job?

God didn't use mutations to create.  Go read your bible.

Sorry. Some of stopped believing in myths, fables and fairy tales when were around five or so.

Appeal to ignorance because 57 says Jesus said so. LOL

Better than your appeal to ignorance because chucky D. said so.

God didn't use creationism to create, but He did say "Let the earth bring forth life." Go read your Bible for once. Modern YEC is not supported by the Bible; every year it moves further and further away from it. Here are some things from modern YEC that are not supported by the Bible:

  • Fixed kinds
  • Variation within kinds
  • The Fall as the origin of harmful mutations
  • Adam and Eve being genetically perfect
  • Superspeciation
  • Dinosaurs living a few thousand years ago
  • Floating veggie mats
  • Asteroids coming from the inside of the earth
  • Mountains rising up
  • A young age for the universe
  • Satan as the deceiver of Adam and Eve

God used mutations. Even your modern YEC is coming closer to admitting that. And you know it.

MMarcoe, your lack of biblical knowledge still amazes me.  seriously.  I thought you would have grown, been edified a little bit more by now.

Have you not read where Eve was made from Adams rib? Have you not read where Eve was the mother of all humans?  Tell me how that is evolutionism.

Not bad for a book that has over 300 prediction pertaining to Jesus Christ that were fulfilled.

But you and your lack of insight simply call it a book of myths, fables and fairy tales...how sad.

Well, let's see, a man being conjured up out of a pile of dirt, talking animals, magic fruit, evil witches, magic flaming swords that move by themselves, unicorns, giants, satyrs, cockatrices, monsters, talking bushes, 900 years old people, the sun standing still in the sky for more productive genocide, sprinkling the blood of a sacrificed dove on a lepers toes cures his leprosy, the blowing of trumpets bringing down the walls of a fortified city, etc., etc., etc..

Yep. Sounds like a fairy tale to me.

This one is special. From a theological point of view, stopping of the sun is impossible. However, miracles are, by definition, events that are impossible within the order of nature. So in order to perform them, God suspends the order of nature. obviously that is 57's science position and he's sticking to it. And why he claims he needs no empirical evidence. There's never any empircal evidence for miracles. How convenient for 57. So he can write his own scripture unhindered by evidence or logic.  LOL

Let's look at this a bit deeper. So the Earth stopped rotating, and God suspended or modified all the natural laws to make it possible. Is that right 57? But deeper examination makes this a tad inconvenient for life on it. Whadda gotta do? F=ma? Gone! Newton’s Third Law? No longer applies! Implications for wind belts, weather, air movements, tides, momentum, movement of the oceans, structural integrity of the planet, you name it? All rescinded. You think God can’t do this? Allow me to introduce you to my little friend, the word “omnipotent”.

Look, it’s no crazier than talking snakes or donkeys, and damn near mundane compared with fruit that you eat to know the difference between good and evil. Some theologians quibble over things like “un-covenanted miracles” when it turns out that stopping the sun is not one miracle, it’s billions on end, but they’re just party-poopers.

Actually, for theologians, God walking in the Garden because He enjoyed the cool of the evening, or not knowing that Adam had eaten of the fruit until He saw that Adam had clothed himself - those are more of a problem. I am not making this up.

57: God didn't use mutations to create.  Go read your bible.

The evidence from creation strongly disputes your opinion.  Life on Earth does appear to have developed by evolution, whether god was behind it or not. Interestingly, this scientific finding doesn't contradict the way the majority of Christians read the Bible nor does it affect their acceptance of Jesus as their savior.

So, with the majority of Christians and creation itself contradicting you, maybe you should consider that your human-derived way of reading the Bible is wrong; maybe the one that needs to re-read it is you.

Your persistence in editing the Bible is much more amazing. I answered your questions several times in the past; I don't need to again.

There are three sides to every story: your side, my side, and the truth.

God is just a personification of reality, of pure objectivity.
