qabala: It's very telling.

I agree.  I used to think the YEC team didn't participate in such threads because they knew they didn't have the scientific evidence to back up their "model."  More and more, however, I think they don't participate because they know that they don't even have a "model" to support.

Over the years there have been several threads requesting creationists to back up their "scientific model" by presenting the science behind it and every one of them has resulted in this same kind of response.

It's very telling.

I guess it was way too much to expect 57 to actually defend one of his completely unfounded assertions --- or for any member of the YEC team to produce an actual YEC model that could be examined and tested.

YECism has failed to make a single, viable scientific point in this debate.  Maybe at some point, YECs will be honest enough to admit that YECism has nothing to do with science and is nothing but one minority form of Christian theology.

The superiority of the YEC model is that it is perfectly in line with what the Bible says ....

...

What? It's not? It makes loads of claims that are not supported by the Bible?

Gee, why is that?

There are three sides to every story: your side, my side, and the truth.

57 keeps using that word, I don't think it means what he thinks it means.

ken: Any further posts about mutations not adding up should be reported as off-topic.

I agree, Ken --- this thread is supposed to be all about explaining the "superior" YEC model.  Accept no substitutes.

(Although I sincerely doubt any YEC will make an appearance on this thread.)

"creationism" ... 2000+ years worth of ABYSMAL FAILURE ... and proud of it.
