I also wonder if Kentucky will give them $35,000,000.00 in tax breaks to study the 'truth' of the matter.

IME, usually they a) try to discredit the science, b) try to discredit the source, and c) claim it's a matter of "faith," when all else fails. i expect that the USG has already forked over WAY more than 35milbeans to Israel, and no doubt part of that dough went to finance the archeological dig...so no, Kentucky's population is not likely to have done so, esp. given the current economic situation.
