I posted this in the 'Hello' thread but didn't get a response and I think it is a valid question.

What is the fascination with discussing God and Jesus on the History's Mysteries board? There are so many things from history to talk about. Why don't you take all the questions about God and Jesus to the Christianity Discussion and Debate forum? That is a better place to discuss these things.

Earth history is HIS-story.

Among the billions of humans who have existed, and who do exist, today, there are millions of humans who also exist, having a personal relationship with our Creator-God - Father-Son-Holy Spirit.

Also, our enemy, Satan, has been, and, now, is, also, very active.

The so called "mysteries" of history always have to do with the spiritual battle which is taking place with respect to the spirit/hearts of humans.

We are not alone!

Dr. White,
"What is the fascination with discussing God and Jesus on the History's Mysteries board? "-------I don't know. But because there is little trafic here, I let it go for the most part.
But, I agree with you that these questions should be on the Christanity board.  Unless someone comes up with something specific to history of course.

Ima,
"Earth history is HIS-story."--------That is sooooo outdated.

"Among the billions of humans who have existed, and who do exist, today, there are millions of humans who also exist, having a personal relationship with our Creator-God - Father-Son-Holy Spirit."--------And millions that don't. So what does that have to do with posting on History's Mysteries?

"The so called "mysteries" of history always have to do with the spiritual battle which is taking place with respect to the spirit/hearts of humans."--------So put the Mystery religions in history and lets talk about them.

Okay, there is spiritual battle (if you are a spiritualist or believe in spiritual beings), otherwise a topic about Jesus is just the same ole boring junk..

I guess getting you to discuss Atlantis would be nothing short of,....it didn't exist.

"Okay, there is spiritual battle "--------Zoroasterians and Gnostics had/ have to deal with this spiritual problem all the time.
Anyone have anything to say about their spiritual battles?

"just the same ole boring junk" !!

Do you value your life?

Are you interested in dying?

Do you have an eternal purpose for your existence?

Are you excited about living?

What are you existing for?

For what purpose were you placed here?

Earth-history with respect to our existence is the great mystery.

Do you know the answer - the reason for your existence?

I don't know if it existed.

I do know that you and I exist, and that is the great mystery that intrigues me.

Jhn 10:10

"The thief (Satan) comes not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy:
I (God-Son-Man) am come that they might have life, and

that they might have [it] more abundantly."

Do you know and understand how this "more abundantly" life works?

That is the great mystery.

Do you know the solution?

If we understood and had resolved "the great mystery,"
then maybe we wouldn't have so many other mysteries.

They may, also, become more readily,  solved!

Here's a mystery:

If the Bible is the history of the Earth, how come the Bible ignores the history of over half of the Earth?

"Do you value your life?"

No more than I value all life.
           ___________

"Are you interested in dying?"

Not in particular. One is born, one lives and one dies.

            -----------------------

"Do you have an eternal purpose for your existence?"

Since we don't know our existence will be eternal, how can one have a purpsoe for an unknown?

                   ----------------------------

"Are you excited about living?"

Not in particular. I am very much a laid back, calm person. Also, at my age, there isn't much I haven't done, so what is there to get exciited over?

                ---------------------------

"What are you existing for?"

Because I was born and will exist until I die.

                  ----------------------
