What money? According to the OP, there's no real market for it anymore.

So what's the point?

I should think that would be just about as much fun as bashing human babies against the wall as was the practice in biblical times.

I hunt deer, pronghorn and elk in my home state, primarily for the meat.

I might also hunt adult seals for meat, with a rifle, if I lived in that part of the world.

I don't think I could bring myself to bash a baby seal's brains in.

Maybe I'm just too sensitive.

Yeah... too many Disney movies, makes the thought of chowing down on baby animals too much...

I was hunting with a guy once who got too jumpy and killed a fawn. I agreed to take the carcass. It was excellent meat. But sheesh, what a Bambi killer!

Call it Bambi, after some stupid old Disney movie, and the whole practise of killing an animal that has not posed a threat to you, and whose flesh you do not need to survive, and the whole process becomes just one big joke to some of you, I guess.

If this could be thought of as the typical human reaction to unnecessary killing of anything, then we're a callous, cold-hearted race.

And not a 'master race' by any stretch of the imagination.
