True 'nuff.

However, when it comes to videos, I'm inclined to believe that if it's this heartwarming, there's a good chance it's been tinkered with.

As I said earlier, still a very pleasant day-brightener simply to think it could have happened.

What about army dogs...they are trained to rescue.  Hmm, now I've got the scent again, ha, see ya in a minute. (Going to do a search on the functions of army dogs.)

I've been looking for awhile, and many of these talk about the dog 'dragging' a person to safety, although don't go into the details of dragging.  But I came away with even *more* respect for dogs than I already had.  I think they are capable of being taught so much more.  When humans collectively get smarter they will show respect to these amazing animals!  One of these dogs dailed 911 down close to the bottom of the page.  Amazing.

Meanwhile, back at home where I live, my dog encountered a skunk this morning and she had to get into the bathtub, which she hates.  My whole house stinks!  She did display 'protective' behavior because when I let her out, the first place she went to was the chicken coop.  I think her animal instinct (intelligence) was working to know that sort of predator is after chickens or eggs.  After she discovered the skunk wasn't at the chicken coop, she ran out into the garden looking for it...she found it.
