Personhood USA is about establishing the personhood of the unborn. Why? Well, anyone deemed a "person" is protected under the constitution and granted the rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. All humans are people, it's just common sense, and all humans deserve rights.

We are committed to restoring the God given right to life to all humans!

How can you help?:

GET INVOLVED!

Pro-life Representative Dan Ruby has introduced THE PERSONHOOD OF CHILDREN ACTand is known as HB1572. You can read the entire bill below.

If you don't know who your state representative is, please click here.

Once you know who your State Representative is, please call him or her at 701-328-3373 and politely ask them to vote for the only pro-life bill this session that protects all preborn children,HB-1572, THE PERSONHOOD OF CHILDREN ACT, without hostile amendments. Please tell them that to be pro-life is to protect all babies. It is their job to protect all innocent people in North Dakota, not just some of them.

It's unconstitutional, as you've had explained to you dozens of times.  Your little friends might think it's groovy to waste valuable time with this nonsense, but it will never pass constitutional muster, because you can't magick a fetus to being a person without a constitutional amendment.

Please stop wasting Congress' time.  And go adopt a real, breathing, child, for crissakes.

There's a good chance it will be on the ballot in 2011:

Thank you for all your hard work ! It has paid off. There is still more work to do.

God has been very gracious. We needed to get 89,285 signatures to put the Mississippi Personhood Amendment on the 2011 ballot. Last week we turned in 105,167 certified ! We got a total of 130,000+ signatures and still have some coming in the mail ! Once we get these certified, it will break a record for the most signatures ever on a initiative in Mississippi.

We started out with four families in NE Miss and no money. While we only raised & spent $11,000, God blessed us with a truly grass roots victory — over 1000 churches & 2000 volunteers from Corinth to the Coast & from the Delta to the Piney Woods helped ! Not only did we garner enough signatures, but we reached out to thousands of Mississippians with the love of Christ in practical ways.

Soli Deo Gloria !!!

Go here to see a video from the turn-in:

The Sec of State’s office still has much work to do, but Sec Hosemann has already been publicly proclaiming that we will be on the ballot in 2011!

We have much work to do as well. We will keep you posted as to how you can help make sure that all human beings are protected in law & in love. With God’s help we will not only change our law, but our culture as well. Not only ensure equal rights to all people and restore Constitutional governance but protect and help the women exploited and harmed by the abortion culture.

One thing that we must do is “pray without ceasing” — thanking God for the victories thus far and setting up pray teams that will cover our work with prayer.

Because of our victories, anti-Personhood forces will be hard at work too.

Throughout history, any time that a society or law system sought to deny rights and eventually to brutalize a segment of the population, the first step is to de-humanize them. Then, when people who seek justice & mercy speak up for those denied rights, those dehumanizing or those who preferred the status quo will resort to desperate or ridiculous measures.

The grasping for ways to silence the voices of 130,000+ Mississippians and continue the killing of the unborn and exploitation of women has already begun

Unborn children are real and respire. It is never a waste of time to protect innocent human beings.

And even if, by some miracle of idiocy, it passes, it will be taken to court instantly, and the state high court will declare it unconstitutional, and then it will go on to the federal district court, which will as well, and then the Supreme Court will either uphold the decision or refuse to hear the case, and you and your little friends are back to square one.

All you are doing is wasting valuable time and resources which could have been better used trying to improve the lives of already born children.  But you and your clones don't give a flying puck about them.  Once they're out of the oven, they are beyond your concern, you hypocrite.

Nor about the fetuses, either.  This is really about trying to control the lives of other women.

Massachusetts doesn't care about born children, either.

(Yeah. I never grow tired of pointing that out.)

Abortion killings are idiocy.

Many PL help both born children and women, as has been repeatedly pointed out to you before, but you refuse to acknowledge that fact. Why?

PC wants to control the lives of pre-born children in the guise of "rights", that is the right to  kill. How hypocritical.

Because as often as you make that statement, Faith, you don't show it.  No one on this board except for me, a rabid pro choicer, has bothered to do foster parenting or adopt children who really need help.  Your pro-life governor, whom you apparently adore, has cut funds for children, their needy parents, and their schools.

This is bloody TYPICAL.  So until you kids can prove otherwise, you're basically prolife until birth, then the devil take it.

Again, one is not required to foster or adopt children as you have. I have contributed much to needy families. There are many other ways to help, as many PL do, but you repeatedly deny that fact
