Yes, it's really amazing ... they've been so focused on the aborted fetuses that they haven't thought about the actual consequences of their reasoning: either abortion is murder or it isn't, either murder needs to be punished or it doesn't.

They can't win this one.

Nor can they apparently admit that they themselves see a difference between a fetus and a person.

In any case, abortion cannot be termed murder because nobody has been killed.

Where people get their knickers in a twist is that they have this idea that ending the life of a 'potential' human is some sort of sin.  Does the Bible say anything about abortion, either pro or con?  I have no idea.  But, I'm sure that somebody somewhere found some place in the Bible where the lord said it was wrong, or words to that effect.  But, heck, you can find anything you want in the Bible if you look hard enough.

I've read many posts on a prolife site where members state unequivocally that abortion is murder, that women who abort should be sent to jail and that the doctors who perform abortions should be stripped of their licenses AND jailed.  One poster even went so far as to say that anyone who performs an abortion on a teenager should go to jail for 35 years - but "only" 25 years for doing an abortion on an adult woman.

The posters who agreed with this were all male.  Hmmmm.
