Hmmmmmm
Do you realize you are not arguing about anything Sky posted but you are only  focusing on Sky’s debating style. Besides, don’t you think you seem to be obsessed with Sky’s postings a little too much?
I noticed that’s all you do lately. Why is it? You said you used to do  ”it” too ? What is that “it”? So you are trying to teach Sky a lesson (with a demanding and self-righteous attitude) when you are already criticizing her for doing the same thing”? don’t you see any hypocrisy in your part?

Some people have strong opinions about subjects that are important to them. You don’t have to agree with them and if you see any flaws, you certainly have the right to argue it with them.
But to insist someone else should change their debating style because you dislike it or disagree with the style is unreasonable and simple isn’t going to happen.
Your posts were much more interesting and reasonable before you are obsessed with demanding Sky to change her style. Even if that happens, maybe that wouldn’t be Sky anymore; it would be “You”.
Besides, People don’t have to do what you ask them to do, even if you were“right”.

Thank you Suze. Can you imagine what kind of ego one must have to think that they have THE way of advocacy? Or that others should copy them? That's why I said..."Bozo the Clown" has a better chance of pulling that off.

You welcome Sky.

so you don't think enormous water waste required for the crops to feed "food animals" and feeding 80% of these grains to food animals is absolutely stupid and wasteful? If that alone needs further explaining..well...

I said the figures you gave were wrong. I posted, long ago, the more reasonable figures.

THE world is only ten weeks away from running out of wheat supplies after stocks fell to their lowest levels for 50 years.

Source? I could not find a reliable source for this info? What I did find is that supplies are low because of a freeze and then too much rain. It had nothing to do with anyone eating beef.

The crisis comes after two successive years of disastrous wheat harvests, .

Exactly. Not eating beef would have had no effect on the weather.

Her "debating style" is irrelevant. The facts are relevant.

I don't blame them. It's too time consuming. Laziness too. There are posters who will not do any research themselves and expect you to spoon feed them the detailed facts. There's too much ignorance and not enough time to thwart it. So yes I hope the others come back soon too but I certainly will understand why if they don't.

It would be so easy to be on the dark side, to be both selfish and stupid, no compassion, no empathy...but...(sigh).
