Safer (less toxic) Artistic Materials -

I know a painter from NYC who got permanently injured by doing oil paintings in a small studio w/o proper ventilation. Many of the problems of working with toxic media can be remedied easily...there are often far safer alternatives!

For me, what is toxic--is a lack of beauty! In a public service office, I got surveyed as to what the corporate colour scheme should be. It was assumed that all three floors of both buildings would be all the same shade and hue! As with black text on white paper in reams in document trays--without any hint of original graphics. People can't draw, or see form. Cool
