I was so moved by this movie this is my first post! If it's been awhile since a movie made you think and made an emotional impact on you, check out "Seven Pounds". I watched it back-to-back the other day & am hoping that when a friend comes to visit today she hasn't seen it so I can watch it again!

I liked that one, too. Very quirky, but cute. :)

Hi everyone, I am new to this site. I heard about it through hayhouseradio.com. I would like to ask a huge favor since so many have posted replies on this site.  I am entered into an acting contest at www.if.net it is to land a role on Bones. My name is Angelica Montesano. There is only one day left so voting today is crucial. Please take a few minutes to cast your votes. Thank you so much, it is so appreciated.

I am a guy and that which comforts me is that which is very guy-ish. If I'm feeling sick at the tummy, there's nothing better than

Evil Dead
Evil Dead 2
Army of Darkness
Dead Ringers (for the conjoined-at-the-navel dream scene)
Rosemary's Baby (that hideous concoction!)

If I'm having a headache and fever:
Scanners
Videodrome
Hellraiser (dude's got pins in his head. Way cool!)

All over aches and pains
Nightmare on Elm Street 3 (I think) was the one where the souls of the people Freddy'd killed were made to look like meatballs on a pizza. That had to hurt!

and somewhere in there I'll make room for Godfather 1 and 2 and the Marx Brothers.

Because you might as well have a theme for what ails you. If nothing else, no matter how bad you feel, you're not as bad as the people in these movies

When I'm under the weather or blue, I watch inspirational, epic, or romantic movies: THE NATURAL, THE CASTLE, THE WAY WE WERE, THE NOTEBOOK, DANCES WITH WOLVES, FIELD OF DREAMS (see a trend?), GONE WITH THE WIND, GLADIATOR, HAPPY FEET, FINDING NEMO, PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, A LOVE AFFAIR TO REMEMBER...

I like movies which make me laugh, cry, think, feel----I usually curl up in my chair and have a box of tissues nearby depending on the movie.  It's wonderful!!!
